My Best Survey Sites
I started doing surveys in the late 1990s with American Consumer Opinion (ACOP). While I’ve cashed out a few times, I rarely earn more than $10 monthly. A big reason is my low tolerance for constantly failing to qualify for surveys. Over 90% of the time, I don’t qualify, which makes the process frustrating—especially when it feels like a mini survey just to get rejected for under fifty cents.
I’ve also tried other survey sites and offer-based platforms like Swagbucks. None have paid much for the time spent. From my experience, it’s often less than a dollar an hour if you’re honest and ethical, particularly for someone in my demographic.
Since November 1st, 2024, my survey experience has changed dramatically with a new site that truly pays! By keeping the site open and checking regularly, I’ve pre-qualified for over 100 worth of surveys each month so far. As of mid-January, my stats show 345 submissions, 287 approved, and a little over 400 earned. I rarely get screened out or fail a survey. This game-changing site is Prolific. While there’s a waiting list to join, it’s worth signing up soon. Prolific doesn’t have a referral program, so this recommendation is purely based on my experience.
I’ve explored many other sites, programs, and gigs since my early days with ACOP. I’ll share more about those experiences in future posts. For now, this post focuses on what’s working for me, so you can follow my lead.
Starting with my best earning site!

Prolific: It’s crazy how fast I earn on this platform. In under 75 days, I’ve earned and cashed out more than $400. This site has made a big difference in my life. I encourage you to get on the waiting list HERE!
Prime Opinion: I cashed out $5.00 in as little as three days. Total time spent interacting with this site for that first payout was about 45 minutes. You might earn faster depending on your demographic. While I do get screened out frequently, I’m getting quicker at navigating the process. I encourage you to sign up HERE! < has my affiliate code.
Freecash.com: Initially, it reminded me of Swagbucks, but recent reviews suggest it’s a good earner. After focusing on its surveys, I feel it’s possible to earn $20-$30 monthly with consistent effort. Their other offers also seem lucrative. It’s worth checking out if you’re looking for additional earning opportunities. I encourage you to sign up HERE! < has my affiliate code.
